Yujiro Kato

Background

After graduating from the University of Tokyo in 2014, Yujiro joined KPMG AZSA LLC and worked in its international division, auditing Japanese and foreign-owned companies. He also studied in Beijing through the firm’s overseas study program, focusing on Chinese language and economics.

In 2017, he joined PwC China and provided accounting and tax advisory services to Japanese and Chinese companies.

After returning to Japan in 2022, he founded Linkard Inc. and became its CEO. He supports people and companies taking on new challenges through career, education, and global business initiatives.

In 2024, he enrolled in the INSEAD MBA program, with campuses in France and Singapore, to advance the company’s global development. He completed the program in June 2025.

Areas of Support

As a certified public accountant with professional and living experience in China and Singapore as well as Japan, he supports foreign companies expanding in the Japanese market.

His work covers strategy, M&A, due diligence, valuation, accounting, tax, and internal management systems, with a focus on management and finance.

He also supports cross-border matters including IFRS and US GAAP, Japanese entity operations, and communication with overseas headquarters.

In addition, he provides executive search and recruitment support for CFOs, corporate function leaders, and bilingual professionals at foreign-owned and growth-stage companies.
