Background
After graduating from Keio University in 2011, Satoru joined AZSA Audit Corporation (now KPMG AZSA LLC). In its international division, he audited Japanese and foreign-owned companies. Through the firm’s overseas study program, he studied Chinese and completed an MBA in Beijing.
In 2019, he was assigned to KPMG China’s Shanghai office, providing accounting and tax advisory services to Japanese and Chinese companies.
In 2022, after leaving KPMG AZSA LLC, he opened Tsuda Certified Public Accountant Office.
In 2023, he established Game Changer Consulting Co., Ltd. and became its representative director.
In 2026, he was appointed Director and Audit and Supervisory Committee Member of CAVE Co., Ltd.
Areas of Support
As a certified public accountant and licensed tax accountant, he draws on extensive experience in a major audit firm’s international division, an MBA completed in Beijing, and an assignment at KPMG China in Shanghai to support companies with overseas subsidiaries and operations, including in China, from accounting and tax perspectives.
He specializes in hands-on support for gaming and entertainment companies, including participation in management meetings.
He provides broad accounting and governance support for listed companies, including financial closing, internal control design and operation, and overseas subsidiary management. His audit experience under Japanese, US and Chinese accounting standards and IFRS, together with his Chinese-language skills, enables him to support cross-border matters between Japan and China.
He also provides management and financial consulting for small and medium-sized businesses and sole proprietors preparing for growth, including tax advice and return preparation, financing, business planning, and IT-based operational efficiency.
